Book world of the KinderCampus
Book world of the KinderCampus
Welcome to the KinderCampus reading room, a place that takes you into the world of books. Immerse yourself in exciting stories, discover new worlds and let yourself be enchanted by the words. You will find us in building A14 in room 0-031.
Three different readings will also take place here. Be there when our lectures bring stories to life. Please register for the readings. If the events are already fully booked, it's still worth dropping by. Maybe there is still a place available.
Dates for the readings:
11.30 a.m. Reading from Kirsten Boie's "The fox who wanted to be a deer"
read aloud by Dr Ella Margaretha Karnatz, Institute for German Studies
Animal fable by Kirsten Boie about family, friendship and trust: After the big fire, Mama Deer finds something small and grey and fluffy at the edge of the forest: Blue-Eye, a young fox who has lost his family. Blue-Eye is allowed to stay with Mummy Deer and her children - and he tries really hard to be a good deer! But when first the silly little mouse disappears and shortly afterwards the fawn Vielpunkt, all the forest animals believe that Blue-Eye is behind it. After all, a fox is always a fox! But Blue-Eye shows the animals that he is a real friend they can rely on.
12.30 pm Reading from Hanna Plagges and Corinna Hößle's "Plankton - Wonderful world of tiny creatures"
read aloud by Prof Dr Corinna Hößle, Institute of Biology and Environmental Sciences
In their search for the lost sea butterflies, Alva and Pepe discover the diversity of planktonic organisms.
They immerse themselves in a wonderful world that usually remains hidden from us.
2.30 p.m. Reading from Michael Ende's "The Satanarchaeolügenialkohöllische Wishing Punch"
read aloud by Prof Dr Thomas Boyken, Institute for German Studies
New Year's Eve: The secret sorcerer Beelzebub Irrwitzer and his aunt, the money witch Tyrannja Vamperl, have a problem. They have not yet fulfilled their annual quota of evil deeds and it is literally five to twelve! Only a particularly wicked plan can help them now, otherwise they will be banished to hell. Can they still catch up by midnight with the help of the satanic archaeological lie of hell?
