20 Years of C3L Events

Between rising energy prices, ambitious climate targets and geopolitical tensions, our energy future is being put to the test. As the No. 1 energy state, Lower Saxony in particular plays a key role in this: with its strong position in renewable energies and as a central location for infrastructure, it will help decide how the energy transition succeeds. But who will ultimately bear the costs of this transformation - the economy, the state or society? And how can Lower Saxony's special responsibility be harmonised with economic competitiveness and social justice?

The event presents pro and con arguments for key questions in the style of a regulated debate and allows the audience to delve deeper into facts about the energy transition in integrated masterclasses.

Lower Saxony, in particular, as Germany’s leading energy-producing state, plays a key role in this: with its strong position in renewable energy and as a central hub for infrastructure, it will help determine the success of the energy transition. And how can Lower Saxony’s special responsibility be reconciled with economic competitiveness and social justice?

The event will present the pros and cons of key issues in the style of a structured debate and enable the audience to gain a deeper understanding of the facts surrounding the energy transition through integrated masterclasses.
