Visiting students begin the online term
Registration for the ‘Studium generale’ opens on 1 September
The latest course catalogue for guest student studies at the University of Oldenburg is now available in print and online. It is aimed at anyone interested in attending ‘Studium generale’ courses during the 2020/21 winter semester. No specific school-leaving qualification is required. Auditors can put together their own study or continuing education programme from over 600 courses: ranging from history, education or German studies, through music and art, to natural sciences or philosophy. Due to the pandemic, teaching for the 2020/21 winter semester will take place online. Videos on the guest student programme’s website explain how to use the digital platforms.
Online registration is open from 1 September 2020 to 31 October 2020. Around 500 guest students take up the opportunity each semester to gain an insight into various academic and research fields at the university. The course catalogue will be available from 1 September for €4.00 in bookshops in Oldenburg city centre and at the university bookshop. It can be sent by post for €5.45. Click here to order ...
Courses begin from 19 October 2020. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, planning for the courses has been slightly delayed, meaning that the full list of available courses will be available online by 15 September 2020 at the latest. We ask for your patience in this regard. The available courses will be listed earlier in the printed directory.
