Applications now open for part-time degree programmes
Anyone wishing to study management with various specialisms or information law whilstworking can start at the University of Oldenburg in the coming winter semester. Applications for the Master’s programmes in Education and Science Management, Risk Management for Financial Service Providers, Information Law, and Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship are now open and will close on 1 September. For the Bachelor’s programme in Business Administration, which is being offered for the first time, interested candidates can apply until 15 September.
The new Business Administration degree programme at the C3L – Centre for Lifelong Learning – opens up career prospects in management, whether as a specialist or a manager. It is aimed at working professionals who, for example, entered the workforce with a commercial apprenticeship, and provides a foundation in Business Administration. Participants can choose their own areas of specialisation, such as innovation and sustainability, human resources and leadership, digital business management, marketing, and sport and business.
All C3L degree programmes are practice-oriented. Real-life challenges from participants’ own working lives can be integrated into the course modules. The programme prepares students for senior management roles, enables them to deepen their specialist knowledge, or qualifies them to enter a new professional field. Anyone wishing to try out the part-time programme can enrol in a module as part of further education and have it credited towards a future degree programme.
The programme is predominantly web-based. Each module usually involves one or two short face-to-face sessions. The digital campus allows you to balance your studies flexibly with work, leisure and family life. Skills acquired through work, as well as credits from previous degree programmes or further education, can be recognised and may shorten the duration of your studies.
