The C3L – Centre for Lifelong Learning at the University of Oldenburg is once again taking part in a nationwide series of online lectures this summer semester: Together with 14 other university institutions specialising in continuing education, we are this time focusing on the theme ‘Reformation and Revolution – Social Change and its Transitions’. On 10 May at 4.00 pm (sharp), Prof. Dr Christian Jansen from the chair of Modern History at the University of Trier will speak on “The Revolution of 1848/49 and its consequences”. The lecture will be broadcast via video conferencing directly from Trier to our university’s Lifelong Learning campus (Building V03, Room 0-E002). Anyone interested is warmly invited; admission is free.
