To mark the start of the 2017 summer semester, Jan Spiekermann from the Institute of Biology and Environmental Sciences will speak about the challenges and potential solutions for drainage management on the North Sea coast. Anyone interested can attend his lecture, ‘Dry Feet Despite Climate Change?!’, on 29 March at the opening event for the visiting student programme in the university’s library lecture theatre on Uhlhornsweg. Afterwards, the C3L will provide information on the programme for guest students in the coming semester. President Prof. Dr Dr Hans Michael Piper will welcome guest students and interested members of the public at 11.00 am in the library lecture theatre.
