Free educational materials for all
Educational materials that are freely accessible and can be used, redistributed and, as a rule, edited free of charge - this is how Unesco defines Open Educational Resources (OER). Whether textbooks, podcasts, complete courses or multimedia - all these resources can be published under an open licence.
Together with teachers, we develop free educational materials. These offers for lifelong learning also enable people without sufficient financial means to access advanced scientific training. In this way, we contribute to opening up the university and to the UN Sustainable Development Goal of high-quality education for all. There are many other activities at the University of Oldenburg relating to free educational materials.
The materials are published via the Lower Saxony portal Twillo , among others. Anyone interested can download and use them.
