Brief description and objectives

UNILEAD is an English-language continuing education programme that supports participants in the development, organisation and implementation of innovative projects at their own university. The programme teaches skills in areas such as project management, strategic management, human resource management and leadership.

Target group

University managers from countries of the Global South.

UNILEAD has been organised at the University of Oldenburg and in selected countries and regions since 2008. Around 600 alumni from more than 50 countries have already taken part.

Duration

Annually; a new round starts in January.

Project organiser/funding

The programme is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with funds from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
