Guidelines for practical use in companies

From risk assessment and security updates to documentation and reporting obligations - the workshop teaches how to implement cyber security requirements in companies. The focus is on the most important European legal frameworks and regulations. Participants will receive an overview of the EU cybersecurity strategy and take a detailed look at the NIS2 Directive, which defines obligations for member states and authorities. Guidance documents will be used to show how to apply the Cyber Resilience Regulation to products with digital elements. The workshop will also present the European cybersecurity certification schemes, the toolbox for secure 5G networks and the EU Cybersolidarity Regulation.

The competence training lasts
6 weeks in total and is structured as follows:

When the skills training programme begins, the learning materials will be made available via our learning platform, C3LLO, where they can be viewed at any time. The content of the learning materials forms the (knowledge) basis for the workshop, which takes place at the University of Oldenburg on the C3L campus. Following the workshop, a transfer task must be completed. The online phases before and after the workshop (input and transfer) are designed to be asynchronous, i.e. participants can organise their time freely within the given framework. For reading the learning materials, participating in the workshop and successfully completing the transfer task, you should estimate a total workload of around 60 hours, most of which can be flexibly distributed over the six-week period.
