Work on catalyst development using a new type of aluminium oxide carrier material; transfer of these test specifications to technical scale (at the Nienburg plant of Solvay Deutschland GmbH); construction of continuously operating pressure apparatus for pilot scale; advice on carrying out pilot tests on catalytic nitrate removal from well water.
Outside the University of Oldenburg:
- Lecturer at the DECHEMA course "Technical Chemistry I" at the Institute of Chemistry at the University of Leipzig.
- Winter semester 2004/05: Representation of a C3 professorship for technical chemistry with a focus on reaction engineering at the University of Leibzig.
