Work on catalyst development using a new type of aluminium oxide carrier material; transfer of these test specifications to technical scale (at the Nienburg plant of Solvay Deutschland GmbH); construction of continuously operating pressure apparatus for pilot scale; advice on carrying out pilot tests on catalytic nitrate removal from well water.
Outside the University of Oldenburg:
- Lecturer on the DECHEMA course ‘Technical Chemistry I’ at the Institute of Technical Chemistry, University of Leipzig.
- Winter semester 2004/05: Acting C3 professorship of Technical Chemistry, specialising in reaction engineering, at the University of Leipzig.
