Introduction of the HISinOne module EXA
The examination management software POS from HIS GmbH, which has been used at UOL since 1997, has been discontinued by the provider, i.e. it will no longer be developed further and support will be discontinued in the medium term. It is therefore necessary to introduce a modern software product for students, lecturers and examination administration that is adapted to the needs of the times (keyword: digitalisation).
The university has been working on establishing new examination administration software since 2023. This will have an impact on all members and affiliates of the University of Oldenburg involved in teaching and examinations.
By replacing the systems used to date with HISinOne, the University of Oldenburg is aiming to optimise its campus management processes. APP and STU are part of this HISinOne suite and are already in use at the University of Oldenburg. The project planning for the introduction of HISinOne-EXA, which was drawn up in consultation with the University of Oldenburg, covers a project duration of around 3.5 years (2023 to mid-2026).
