The new examination management software EXA will be available for students and lecturers from 8 December at 8 am.
What is EXA?
EXA is derived from the English word "examination" and is a software for examination administration. EXA enables, for example, exam registration, grade entry, grade viewing for students and certificate creation.
EXA is part of our campus management system HISinOne. HISinOne is made up of several modules: APP for application management, STU for student administration and EXA for examination administration. This system is used to map and manage the student life cycle for the various stakeholders at the University of Oldenburg - administrative staff, teaching staff, academic staff and students.
Introduction of EXA as a replacement for POS
The examination management software POS has been replaced by EXA. This will be available to you from 8 December at 8 am.
Between 24.11. and 5.12.2025, most degree programmes and thus approx. 90% of all students at the University of Oldenburg were switched to EXA.
The following students will continue to be administered in POS for the time being:
- Students on the Human Medicine degree programme
- Students who are still studying in certain older examination regulations or have taken older modules
