A career springboard in Low German?

The Regional Centre for Low German has produced a series of videos on the topic of Low German in academic appointments to show young people in particular possible career prospects related to Low German. Four protagonists bring a wide range of perspectives from the fields of journalism, science, culture and school. The videos have been uploaded to the YouTube channel of the country centre.

Among them is also a video interview with our employee Tio Rohloff on the topic of "Low German in science"(short version).

The interviews make it clear: whether in pedagogical work with children, in all areas of school and pre-school education, in journalism or in science: knowledge of Low German can not only be an exciting addition to everyday academic appointments, but also open up new career opportunities.
