The new edition of the Middle Low German proverb collections "Künstlike Werltspröke" and "Eyn schön rimbökelin" has been published since 21 November 2025. These important collections have been an integral part of Low German literature since 1540 and serve as valuable evidence of linguistic and cultural development in northern Germany. A co-operation between the Universities of Rostock and Oldenburg and the Rostock University Library has succeeded in making the texts, which were previously hardly accessible, digitally accessible.
