- The Admissions Committee meets approximately once a month from the start of the application period.
- Application documents must be submitted at least one week before the meeting date so that the application can be considered on that day.
- You can expect to receive notification (confirmation of a place) from the Admissions office approximately 14 days after the meeting date.
- Once you have received confirmation, you must enrol for the Master’s degree programme place you have been offered. You will only become an official Master’s student once you have enrolled on the degree programme.
Applications from foreign nationals with German university entrance qualifications may be submitted until the end of the semester (30 September for the winter semester, 31 March for the summer semester). – in practice, however, if you apply this late, you will only receive your offer of a place and the necessary authorisations after the start of the term.
For prospective students with a Bachelor’s degree from a third country, direct application to the university is not permitted, and earlier deadlines apply (see Applying to study in Oldenburg).
