Promoting gender aspects in research
The investigation of gender-related aspects is increasingly becoming an obligatory part of the preparation and implementation of research projects (see DFG), especially at European level.
The platform of the "Gendered Innovations" project at Stanford University presents innovative methods of gender-specific research as well as opportunities for intersectional research approaches in relation to different subject areas.
The "Act on Gender" project (Horizon 2020) aims to promote gender equality at universities, research centres and research funding organisations. Three areas are given special consideration: gender balance in career advancement, gender balance in decision-making positions and integration of the gender dimension in research content and teaching.
