This year, the Future Day for Girls and Boys took place on 23 April 2026. There were a total of 39 activities covering a wide range of topics for girls and boys. On this day, over 300 school pupils were able to find out about study and training opportunities at the University of Oldenburg. Among other things, the girls gained an insight into scientific research areas, whilst the boys were able, for example, to explore the scientific methods and topics covered by the Institute of Material Culture or to discover the library.

We are currently busy preparing for Future Day 2027. Further information, as well as details on the programme and the registration period, will be published at the start of 2027.

Please note: Registration will take place online. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no guarantee of a place. Afterwards, we will notify all children and parents by email as to whether, and to what extent, their registration(s) for one of the three preferred activities could be accommodated.
