Notes on the company study visit
In the Economics Education and Political Economy degree programmes, two company study visits must be completed during the Bachelor's degree programme, and an overall exploration report covering both explorations must be prepared.
Explorations can be
- within the framework of courses or
- organised by the student bodies or
- self-organised
take place.
The student body Politics, Economics & Economics Education has set up the study group "Information portal company study visits" on Stud.IP, which provides information about planned company study visits.
The exploration report
The overall exploration report is to be prepared as a scientific paper in accordance with the requirements of the following two documents:
- Handout for the company study visit
- Handout for scientific work - Only one overall exploration report is to be submitted,
- in which the form "Confirmation of a company study visit" is submitted, which is confirmed* by the respective companies with date, signature and company stamp and
- if there are no more than three months between the date of the second exploration and the submission date.
*Forgroup explorations (e.g. organised by the student body or as part of courses), this can be proven by a group confirmation from the company. Please note this accordingly on the form. The group confirmations are stored centrally at the Institute.
The confirmation form (without company stamp) must also be submitted for group explorations!
When submitting the exploration report, please note the time period for evaluation by the lecturers (up to five weeks in accordance with the general section of the Bachelor's examination regulations). Contact person: Frank-Michael Henn.
Exceptions to these regulations and deadlines are only possible after consultation with the respective lecturer. If you are asked by the lecturer to revise your report, you have six weeks to revise it.

Note: It is not possible for previous academic appointments (e.g. completed apprenticeship or dual study programme) to be credited towards the company study visits to be completed.
