A wide range of offers for economics lessons

The IÖB offers teachers of all school types and levels a wide range of resources for organising modern economics lessons. In terms of materials, this includes traditional printed materials (from worksheets to teaching units), as well as up-to-date newspaper articles, handouts on selected practical contacts, films, etc. In addition, the IÖB offers comprehensive support in the area of school development. For example, as part of various projects, concepts for building a profile in the field of Economics Education, for systematically linking theory and practice, for organising student companies and for designing school management have been developed and published, which are available on the pages of our affiliated institute: Materials for school lessons

As part of the cooperation between wigy e. V., the Institute for Economics Education at the University of Oldenburg and the Handelsblatt project "Handelsblatt macht Schule", the following extensive teaching units have been created to date:

Innovative Economics Education projects are primarily focussed on two fields:

• Internet-supported further education and training of teachers in Economics Education
• Creating and trialling attractive materials and media for good economics teaching.

Corresponding pilot projects and public-private partnership projects are being realised at regional, national and international level.

In order to make the books available to as many students as possible, the following rules apply with immediate effect:

1. Books can only be borrowed on presentation of a valid identity card (or a registration certificate).
2. Books can be borrowed during office hours and by appointment.
3. The loan period is 5 working days.
4. If the loan period is exceeded, a reminder will be sent in writing for a fee.
