Seven university students were honoured today with the OLB/EWE Prize for "special achievements in their studies". The jury honoured outstanding credits such as very good examination grades and short study times, but also exceptional commitment to projects and initiatives or voluntary work.
The prizes were presented by Prof Dr Sabine Kyora, Vice President for Studies and Teaching at the university, Britta Silchmüller, Oldenburgische Landesbank, and Florian Maaß, EWE AG, among others.
The individual prizes worth 1,000 euros went to Lisa Krüger (Master's in Sustainability Economics and Management), Annett Thole (two-subject Bachelor's in Special Education/Interdisciplinary Education) and Jonna Wagner (Master's in Environmental Modelling). Désirée Diering, Johanna Ernst, Swanhild Klink and Gesa Kip (all Master's in Sustainability Economics and Management) were honoured with a group prize worth a total of 1,500 euros.
