Experience everyday university life, get a taste of seminars and find out all about studying – school pupils, A-level students and anyone else interested will have this opportunity at the University Information Day (HIT) on Friday 31 May . The event is organised by the Central Study Counselling Service.
Visitors can take part in specially organised presentations on the approximately 40 bachelor’s degree programmes, library tours and special events. Discussion sessions with students offer an insight into everyday student life. The Central Study Counselling Service and other university service centres will provide information on entry requirements, opportunities for study abroad, studying with a disability and funding options.
Anyone looking for a one-to-one chat can visit the information stands in the foyer of the Lecture Theatre Centre (Building A14, Uhlhornsweg) for comprehensive information on all aspects of university life. There’s also plenty on offer for relaxation and entertainment: one highlight is the hip-hop performance ‘Reineke der Fuchs’, initiated by Oldenburg students and the songwriter Gerrit A. Helm.
For journeys between the Haarentor campus and the Wechloy campus, bus route 306 can be used free of charge with a ticket from the programme booklet. The programme is available online.
