Students and employees of the University of Oldenburg and its EXIST partner universities can now apply for the "University of Oldenburg Founder Award 2014".

Whether it's an energy drink, a mobile phone app or a new process for generating energy - there are many ways to develop business ideas. However, there is often a lack of committed individuals to realise these ideas. The Founder Award supports innovative idea providers with non-cash and cash prizes as well as professional feedback. Applications can be submitted until 15 November at www.gruenderpreis-oldenburg.de. A jury of experts will select the three best business ideas from all the entries and award prizes totalling over 5,000 euros. The Founders' Prize is an event organised by the EXIST project Gründerinnen- und Gründeruniversität, which is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Supporters of the Founder's Prize are Creditreform Oldenburg, nordsehen TV, Landessparkasse zu Oldenburg, Wirtschaftsförderung der Stadt Oldenburg, Junge Öffentliche Versicherungen Oldenburg and EFNW - An-Institut der Universität Oldenburg.

One table is raised, and two treadmills are positioned side by side on the floor below.
