The best entrepreneurial innovations for adapting to the consequences of climate change will be honoured by the "Network Innovation & Start-ups in Climate Change" (NIK), led by the University of Oldenburg, in its "Climate Innovations" competition. Interested parties are cordially invited to the award ceremony on Monday, 1 June at the Bremen Chamber of Commerce (Am Markt 13). It starts at 5.00 pm.
The prize of 5,000 euros in the "Small and medium-sized enterprises" category will be awarded by Jörg Bensberg, District Administrator of Ammerland, on behalf of the Northwest Metropolitan Region. 3,000 euros in prize money for the award in the "Start-ups" category will be provided by EWE and its CEO - and laudator - Dr Werner Brinker. The evening will be hosted by the scientific head of NIK, Prof Dr Klaus Fichter, an expert in innovation management from the University of Oldenburg. The network is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, the Metropolitan Region Northwest and the City of Oldenburg.
