OLE+ is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research as part of the joint federal and state quality offensive for teacher training.

Project structure and participants OLE+

Overall management of the OLE+ project lies with the Vice President for Studies, Teaching and International Affairs at the University of Oldenburg. The OLE+ academic management team is responsible for the science-based management of the project in co-operation with the university management. The management team is made up of two representatives each from the educational sciences, specialised sciences and didactics, as well as a student representative. Each teacher training School at the University of Oldenburg is represented by a member of the management team.

The tasks in core processes 2(promoting professionalisation) and 4(setting up theory-practice spaces) of the OLE+ project are carried out at both cross-faculty and faculty-specific level: Faculty-specific in the Faculty Development Groups, which have been set up at each of the UOL's teacher training faculties and in which subject specialists, subject didacticians and educational scientists worktogether with OLE+ staff and partners from the second and third phases on the faculty-specific further development of the curricula and on optimising the theory-practice links in the teaching degree programmes; across facultiesin three working groups (on curriculum development, on advising student teachers and on optimising the theory-practice links in the teaching degree programmes), each of which is led by two university lecturers and in which each teacher training School is represented by a member of academic staff. Each teacher training faculty is represented by a member of staff from OLE+. Each teacher training faculty is represented by an OLE+ academic staff member.
