The regulations for the Master's thesis can be found

The Master's thesis can be registered at any time. However, a prerequisite is the achievement of at least 60 credit points.
The form "Registration for the Master's thesis" can be found on the website of the Examinations Office

For the proposal for admission to the Master's thesis, you will need the proposal for the topic of the thesis as well as confirmation from both examiners.

It is recommended that you go to the Examinations Office in person for admission in order to have the completeness and correctness of the documents checked.

Please note §21 Para. 1 MPO:

"The Master's thesis should show that the student is able to work independently on a problem from one of the chosen subjects using scientific methods within a given deadline".

The Master's thesis may only be started after admission has been granted.

A maximum period of 6 months after the topic is issued is allowed for the completion of the Master's thesis.
The workload should not exceed 27 CP.
A page count of 60-80 pages is recommended (approx. 1500 characters/page, font size e.g. Times New Roman 12 pt or Arial 11 pt, 1 ½ line spacing).
The work does not have to be empirical.

When making your further plans (applications etc.), please take into account the time required for the assessment of the thesis (8 weeks according to the examination regulations) and for the preparation of the certificate documents.
You must be enrolled at the time of submission of the last examination (usually the Master's thesis).
