We hold regular events to explore topics relating to doctoral studies and the period afterwards. Depending on the format and topic, these events are aimed at those interested in pursuing a PhD and/or current PhD students.
As well as running our own workshops, we collaborate with various departments at the University of Oldenburg (e.g. the Graduate Academy, 3GO, OLTECH, DiZ). Registration is via Stud.IP.
Information sessions
Our information sessions provide a concise overview of key topics relating to the PhD phase – such as financing, the application process, and career paths both within and outside academia. They offer an initial overview and provide an opportunity to ask questions.

Workshops
Our workshops offer space for reflection, orientation and practical impulses. Whether it's a decision for or against a doctorate, career planning or the transition from the doctorate to the postdoctoral phase or into professional fields outside academia.
We work interactively in small groups and strengthen the participants' skills.
