In the two-subject Bachelor's degree programme in Special Education, you will learn how inclusive educational work can be successful across the entire lifespan - cross-categorically, without being restricted to individual special needs. You will deal with topics such as development, inclusion, diagnostics, lesson design and individualised support. Particularly exciting: you will gain valuable experience in school and extracurricular institutions in training modules. This allows you to combine theory and practice right from the start - and prepares you for a wide range of academic appointments in the educational and social sector.

With your degree, many paths are open to you - whether in schools, in inclusive child and youth welfare, in social institutions or in the field of counselling and support. After completing your Bachelor's degree, you can go straight into various educational professions or gain further qualifications in a Master's degree programme - for example, to become a teacher or work outside of school in the field of rehabilitation sciences.

Do you already have a Bachelor's degree in special education/education/educational science or a comparable degree programme? The M.Ed. in Special Education, M.Ed. in Business Education and the M.A. in Rehabilitation Sciences will prepare you for a wide range of tasks in school and non-school professional fields - with academic depth, practical relevance and a focus on inclusion and participation.

Have you not yet made a final decision between school and an extracurricular career? Then simply combine both paths - with the option of studying M.Ed. Special Education and M.A. Rehabilitation Education in parallel and having many credits recognised.
