Participants wanted for linguistic study on hearing impairments

Information & contact:

For a study on hearing impairment, we are looking for adults without hearing impairment aged between 40 and 70 whose native language is German. The aim of the study is to better understand which linguistic information is particularly important for the language comprehension of people with hearing impairment.

In the study, the participants are given a simple task: They listen to different sentences in succession and then have to select the appropriate picture on a screen. At the same time, the participants' eye movements are measured using a small camera.

The study takes place in the university's Laboratory for Language and Music Research (Building A6, Room 2-201). The experiment takes about 90 minutes. Participants will receive an expense allowance of 15 euros. Interested parties can register directly HERE.
