Final theses
All members of staff in the Department of Sport and Society are admitted to supervise Bachelor's and Master's theses. However, theses are only accepted by all if students have previously presented their project idea in an office hours session(guidelines for office hours sessions). The topic should be chosen by the student and developed into a one-page synopsis(Guidelines for the preparation of a synopsis) in advance of the office hours.
The formal design of the final theses should be based on the guidelines available from the Examinations Office and those of the German Association for Sports Science. The learning workshop of the Central Student Advisory Service also offers assistance.
