At the University of Oldenburg, you can study sports science as a teaching degree programme (primary school, secondary school, grammar school, comprehensive school, special school or vocational school) or as an extracurricular master's degree programme.

The sports science degree programme is characterised by a combination of practical and theoretical sports and research methodology components. This enables a wide range of options for applying research-based learning in a scientific and study-orientated manner.

The degree programme is organised via the Stud.IP campus management system. This interface is used for the selection of courses before the start of the course, the lottery procedure for the allocation of seminar places within the interested parties, the digital course schedule, including the course material and examination management. In justified cases, students can submit a hardship application in order to be given preferential admission to courses.
