Katharina Böhm-Hustede and Antje Wulff attended the GMDS and BVMI-DMEA satellite event in Berlin on 20 April 2026. A total of seven workshops featured in-depth discussions on fascinating topics relating to digitalisation and medical informatics. As speakers in the workshop ‘Rethinking Decisions: How AI Supports, Rather Than Replaces, Medicine’ (organised by the Working Group on Decision Support in Healthcare and the Working Group on Mobile Information Technology in Medicine), they also contributed their own research. Their presentation, ‘Interoperability Challenges in CDSS: From Data to Design to Practice’, provided insights into current challenges and potential solutions.
