Katharina Böhm-Hustede and Antje Wulff took part in the GMDS and BVMI-DMEA satellite event in Berlin on 20 April 2026. Exciting topics relating to digitalisation and medical informatics were discussed intensively in a total of seven workshops. They also contributed their own research as speakers in the workshop "Rethinking decisions: How AI supports medicine, not replaces it" (led by the Decision Support in Healthcare working group and the Mobile Information Technology in Medicine working group). Their presentation "Interoperability Challenges in CDSS: From Data to Design to Practice" provided insights into current challenges and possible solutions.
