With the doctoral degree programme in Cultural Gender Studies, the University of Oldenburg offers young academics from various cultural studies subjects the opportunity to complete their doctorate in a structured programme. The programme is based on a transdisciplinary perspective in which research approaches from cultural, post-colonial, gender and queer studies are combined and the theoretical and methodological concepts of critical cultural studies are applied.
