WP 7.1 Stakeholder Processes

The University of Greifswald analyses local stakeholders’ perceptions of, and attitudes towards, specific landscapes and land uses in the two study regions. Stakeholders involved in the project range from governmental organizations, local authorities to representatives of the agriculture, nature conservation, and tourism sectors. Four different land use scenarios are being adapted to the specific conditions of the two study regions. WP 7.1 focuses on the notion of landscape to explore local preferences for trade offs in ecosystem services and function under different land use strategies and climate change, with particular consideration of local socio-cultural contexts.
