The Diagnostics Centre offers many modern procedures, both for patient care and for research. The spectrum ranges from classic clinical-chemical analyses in high-throughput procedures to virological and microbiological procedures to state-of-the-art genetic sequencing procedures and, of course, imaging procedures.

Closely linked to the Diagnostics Centre are core facilities that make samples and molecular data extensively available to researchers as part of biobanking.

Information on the meeting point: Enter the Oldenburg Clinical Centre through the main entrance. After the information desk, turn right into the stairwell and go up to the second floor. Take the left-hand door, go directly to the right and turn right again. Walk along the long corridor with the space images to the end, then turn left round the bend and right again. Opposite the rehearsal reception (large, glazed hatch) you will find a waiting area with chairs; this is the meeting point.
