In this summer semester, you will have the opportunity to take part in the “Power BI for Professionals” workshop for the first time. The workshop is being offered in collaboration with ETL Commerzial Treuhand Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft from Oldenburg and is aimed at Bachelor’s and Master’s students of economics who wish to acquire in-depth knowledge of data analysis and visualisation using Microsoft Power BI and apply this knowledge directly in practice.
Over the course of three hands-on sessions, participants will be guided step by step through working with Power BI. Topics covered include data preparation, the creation of interactive dashboards and the meaningful visualisation of analysis results. In a final project set within the context of financial statement analysis and audit, they can directly apply and consolidate what they have learnt. The workshop thus not only provides an introduction to working with Power BI, but also offers the opportunity to gain practical experience relevant to both their studies and their future careers.
