Hanna Hodel

Since March 2025 Hanna Hodel is a research associate at the chair and is conducting research as part of the DFG project “Positive and Negative Network Ties of Entrepreneurial Households in Sub-Saharan Africa – Drivers, Interplay, and Consequences.” She will also supervise student bachelor and master theses at the chair. Her academic background is in development economics, with a focus on Sub-Saharan Africa. With extensive professional experience in countries such as Kenya, Burkina Faso, Senegal, and Cameroon, Ms. Hodel brings valuable practical expertise and in-depth knowledge of development economics to our team.
