With around 160 guests, the lecture hall and foyer were well filled at the graduation ceremony for the part-time degree programmes. Around a third of the 130 Bachelor's and Master's graduates who have successfully completed their studies since the end of 2022 accepted the invitation to the university. Graduates from Norway, Switzerland and Bavaria had travelled the furthest to attend.
The academic directors of the degree programmes presented graduation certificates and awards for special achievements. Two graduates reviewed their time at the university and described the highs and lows of their educational journey. There was much praise for the study concept and the support provided by the C3L team, which accompanied the students over several semesters.
A graduate of the MBA degree programme in Education and Science Management presented the results of her Master's thesis entitled "The importance of resilience in the context of final theses. A study of students in advanced scientific training at the University of Oldenburg". One of the interviews conducted for the thesis summarised part-time study as follows: "Everything really does pay off in the end." The ceremony, which ended with a champagne reception and many lively conversations, was accompanied by music students from the band "Gezupfte Liebe".
