Psychologists can complete training in psychological psychotherapy or child and adolescent psychotherapy at the University of Oldenburg. Pedagogues are also eligible to train as child and adolescent psychotherapists. With a licence to practise as a psychotherapist, you can apply for your own health insurance licence, open a practice or take on a managerial role in healthcare.
The extra-occupational training in psychological psychotherapy or child and adolescent psychotherapy is offered with a specialisation in depth psychology-based psychotherapy and the inclusion of system therapy methods. The attendance times for the seminars are concentrated on weekends outside the holidays. The additional offer of an online learning environment facilitates a largely flexible organisation of the training. Applications will be accepted from 1 January 2019 to 31 March 2019.

There will be information events for the training course starting in autumn 2019 on the following dates in the rooms of the training centres on the campus of the University of Oldenburg:
21 November 2018, 10 December 2018,09 January 2019 and 30 January 2019, each from 19:00.
