Studying alongside your job or undertaking further education in a single semester – this is what the part-time degree programmes at the University of Oldenburg make possible. Working professionals have until 1 September to enrol on the Master’s programmes in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship, Education and Science Management, Risk Management and Financial Analysis, and Information Law. The Bachelor’s programme in Business Administration is also available.
All of the approximately 50 modules offered in these degree programmes during the winter semester can also be taken as further education courses without being enrolled as a student. If students join the programme at a later stage, the continuing professional development certificates will be fully recognised. Learning is practice-oriented and predominantly online. On the digital campus, studying can be flexibly balanced with work, leisure and family life.
In addition to subject-specific skills, the degree programmes offered at the university’s C3L – Centre for Lifelong Learning – also impart what are known as ‘future skills’. These enable students to solve problems independently and act effectively in a rapidly changing environment. Future Skills can be developed through six-week skills training courses, which can also be taken as part of further education. Training courses currently available cover communication, resilience and design thinking.
