The aim of the network is the long-term and successful establishment of lifelong learning programmes in the German higher education landscape.

Its coordination, based at the three universities of Oldenburg, Weimar and Ulm, enables and supports the initiation and design of programmes, the supervision of participating projects, the initiation of co-operation and the fundamental networking of players - even beyond the competition. The focus is on networking, consulting, qualification and communication and is implemented in formats such as working meetings, webinars and webinar series, as well as study visits. The diverse requirements and expectations of the individual projects are addressed through the mediation of experts as part of the peer counselling service.
