As a result of the project "Recognition of qualifications and competences acquired outside of higher education", the C3L presented an orientation framework for those involved in the recognition procedure as well as a handout and an information flyer for applicants at the beginning of the year. These materials were created in close cooperation with the Examinations Office and the degree programme coordinators of the Schools and brought the project to a successful conclusion.

The implementation of a transparent credit transfer procedure and the creation of information materials should help to improve permeability between academic appointments and the higher education system. Students can have existing learning outcomes recognised if they are equivalent in terms of content and level, thereby avoiding duplication.
