Mr Wintermann has successfully completed the Master's degree course in Risk Management for Financial Service Providers offered by C3L with his thesis "On the modelling of counterparty default risks using the example of a medium-sized cooperative bank".

His personal summary after graduation clearly shows how helpful the degree programme is in his day-to-day work and which factors have contributed to this:
"The degree programme has given me a much broader and deeper understanding of risk management. In particular, it allows me to take a critical look behind the risk models used and their mathematical foundations. However, the programme and especially the Master's thesis also require a high degree of self-discipline. As a father of two small children (2 and 1/2 years old), the backing and support of my family was particularly important and helpful."
