The Centre for Lifelong Learning (C3L) at the University of Oldenburg is once again offering the part-time contact course "Systemic Counselling, Family and Systems Therapy" from January 2017. Private lecturer Dr Joseph Rieforth, academic director of the contact course, and other experienced lecturers will teach basic and advanced knowledge of systemic theory, methodology and practice.
The course covers topics such as systemic diagnosis, dialogue management, crisis intervention, counselling and therapy in coercive contexts and systemic couples therapy. Methodologically, the programme focuses on supervision, self-reflection, practice transfer, training and personal support in professional development. Graduates have the opportunity to receive dual certification from the university and the German Society for Systemic Therapy, Counselling and Family Therapy (DGSF).

Anyone interested in working in the fields of counselling and therapy can register at the university's Centre for Lifelong Learning (C3L) until 30 November 2016.
