Dr Johann Bölts from the Center for Lifelong Learning - C3L at the University of Oldenburg has been appointed as a member of the expert committee of the Shenda Medical Group, Changchun, China. The Shenda Group will establish rehabilitation clinics and facilities for the elderly in China and would like to incorporate the experience of the German healthcare system into the conceptualisation. Other members are a colleague from Helsinki, Finland and the future medical director of a rehabilitation clinic for paediatrics and geriatrics.
