First further education in systemic therapy and counselling in youth welfare successfully completed

13 graduates have successfully completed further education in Psychosocial Action (PSH) in Youth Welfare at Carl von Ossietzky University's Centre for Lifelong Learning (C3L). Under the academic direction of private lecturer Dr Joseph Rieforth and in co-operation with Diakonie im Oldenburger Land, junior staff in youth welfare, support and therapy as well as employees in the social and health sector were trained for the first time and bid farewell at a small ceremony.

Over the course of eighteen months, the participants learnt the theoretical principles, methods and approaches that enable them to apply systemic therapy and counselling as a solution- and resource-oriented process. Specific knowledge and practical experience of the participants were taken into account.

The further education programme will start a new round in February 2021. Registration is still possible until 31 December at uol.de/c3l/psychosoziales-handeln-psh-in-der-jugendhilfe or by calling Andrea Grotelüschen on 0441/798-2974. An information event is planned for 17 November 2020 from 6 to 7.30 pm. It is already possible to register for both the information event and the further education programme.

After completing further education, it is possible to transfer to the contact courses "Systemic Counselling, Family and Systems Therapy" and "Supervision, Coaching and Organisational Development" or "Mediation and Systemic Conflict Management" under certain conditions.
