On Thursday 4 October, participants will have the opportunity to meet other guest students and find out about current offers.

After the official welcome by Dr Christiane Brokmann-Nooren, Head of the Open University Division of the Centre for Lifelong Learning, Alexandra Otten will give a talk entitled "I do not submit, I demonstrate [...]" on the life and work of Carl von Ossietzky (based on the permanent exhibition of the same name in the University Library).
Afterwards, Mr Keszöcze will report on the activities of the Interest Group of Guest Students (IVG) and Dr Humbert, a long-time guest student and university guide for international students, will provide insights into his activities on campus. At the end of the event, there will be information about the guest auditor programme and additional offers for guest auditors.
The semester opening event for guest students will take place on Thursday, 04 October 2018, from 11:00 - 12:30 in the lecture hall of the library.
