The graduates of the training centres for psychotherapy at the University of Oldenburg (C3L) celebrated their state qualification and licensing as psychological psychotherapists or child and adolescent psychotherapists.
The ceremony was hosted by the academic director of the training centres, Privatdozent Dr Joseph Rieforth. The therapists have gained a great deal of experience in treating patients in the university outpatient clinic attached to the training centres in at least five years of training. The training programme, which follows on from a degree in psychology or education, has been offered by the University of Oldenburg for 19 years. After obtaining their professional licence to practise, the therapists are now authorised to work in a therapeutic capacity and, for example, to take over a practice approved by the health insurance funds. The annual ceremony was once again attended by numerous graduates from previous years.
