On 15 June, renowned experts from the field of political science will meet representatives of refugee support initiatives in a panel discussion on the challenges posed to our democracy by the influx of refugees, with PD Markus Linden, political scientist at the University of Trier, FZE - Forschungszentrum Europa (focus on integration policy), Dr Johannes Michael Nebe, geographer and political scientist (focus on development policy and development cooperation), Markus Pflüger, consultant for peace work at AG Frieden e.V., Trier (motto: "Fighting the causes of flight, not refugees") and Martin Weiler, Refugee Law Clinic Trier e.V. (focus on European and international law).
