The Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister of Science, Research and Economy of the Republic of Austria, Dr Reinhold Mitterlehner, has reappointed Prof. Dr Anke Hanft as a member of the Board of the Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria (AQ Austria). He explicitly thanked Prof Hanft for her commitment and willingness to take on this responsible task for the sustainable quality assurance of the Austrian higher education sector for a further term of office. AQ Austria was founded in 2012 on the basis of the Higher Education Quality Assurance Act (HS-QSG) as a quality assurance agency for Austrian universities. Prof Hanft has been a professor of advanced scientific training at the University of Oldenburg since 2000 and is scientific director of the Centre for Lifelong Learning (C3L).
