As part of the 9th EDEN Research Workshop, Prof. Dr Olaf Zawacki-Richter was appointed an EDEN Fellow in a formal ceremony on 4 October 2016.

EDEN - the "European Distance and E-Learning Network" - aims to promote and actively shape the academic and professional discussion on e-learning and the entire spectrum of distance learning - in Europe and beyond.
At the C3L - Centre for Lifelong Learning, Professor Zawacki-Richter is particularly closely associated with the field of educational technology, where the "C3LLO" learning platform was developed, among other things.

The award of a fellowship recognises professional and academic excellence.
